His love for portraiture and the use of lighting can be seen in formal portraits of UCR’s Chancellors, Riverside County Supervisors and elected officials.

Peter is one of only 2 photographers in the city of Riverside whose work is displayed on the walls of the Riverside Convention Center.
Peter worked as a staff photographer for the Press-Enterprise from 1983 to 2004.
Newspaper photography taught him many things, most notably, “there’s always room for improvement and plenty to learn no matter how long you’ve been a photographer.”

Free lance photographer Peter Phun shares his passion for photography teaching his own classes in addition to teaching part time at Riverside City College, La Sierra University, UCR Extension & the Riverside Art Museum.
