The last time I picked up my camera was this past summer in July. Needless to say as I packed and prepped for this trip, all my batteries were dead.

I had to look all over for my gear which were scattered into different compartments and bags.

Just finding the various bits and pieces took a while. But it was great to get out and just do what I love.

My friend Deborah McDevitt had organized a Steampunk fashion shoot in Vista, San Diego county at the Antique Gas and Steam Engine Museum.

She invited about 15 photographers and recruited about 9 models. We spent roughly 3 hours wandering the grounds of this massive museum photographing 9 models.
